Faculty Information:
The department is enriched by dedicated faculty members including Prof. Asha Bodele. She actively contributes to teaching and research in areas such as gender issues, women’s studies, social media, and contemporary social challenges. She has co-authored research papers on topics like virtual violence against women and issues affecting marginalized communities. Her academic involvement ensures a blend of theoretical knowledge and real-world research exposure for students. The department also includes Assistant Professor Rutuj Mahendra Salunke, a well-known environmental activist with a Master’s degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, who possesses immense experience and knowledge in the fields of social work and sociology.
