About Department: The Department of Physics, established in June 1984, is committed to providing quality education and fostering scientific temperament among students. The department aims at the holistic development of learners by strengthening their conceptual understanding, analytical abilities, and practical skills in Physics. It offers an undergraduate B.Sc. Physics programme under the University of Mumbai. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with experimental learning. Laboratories: Department of Physics Has three well equipped laboratories across an area of 2000 sq. ft. with well-furnished infra-structure through well-equipped laboratories and hands-on training. The department emphasizes innovative teaching methods, project-based learning, demonstrations and inquiry-driven approaches. It provides a supportive academic environment with access to a departmental library, instruments, and learning resources. With a team of qualified and dedicated faculty, the department actively engages in research, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programmes. Students are encouraged to participate in academic activities, study tours, and collaborative learning.
