About Department :
The Department of Botany established in 1985, department is dedicated to the study of plant
science, encompassing the structure, function, growth, evolution, and classification of plants. As a vital branch of biological sciences, botany plays a crucial role in understanding
biodiversity, environmental sustainability, agriculture, and biotechnology. The department aims to provide quality education and promote scientific inquiry among students through a well-structured curriculum that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical experience. It focuses on key areas such as plant physiology, taxonomy, ecology, genetics, and molecular biology, enabling students to develop a comprehensive understanding of plant life.
